What this means is that you have to clear the bonus money from your Pending Bonus account to your Cashier before you can wager it or withdraw it. To clear the bonus money you'll have to play poker with your deposit money and earn Full Tilt Points.

Full Tilt Points are the system Full Tilt Poker uses to measure the rate at which you clear your bonus. Each Full Tilt Point is worth $0.06 cents, so you have to earn 16.6 points per dollar of bonus. The bonus is paid out in $20 increments, so every time you earn 332 Full Tilt Points you'll release $20 of your bonus into your real money account. If you have less than $20 less of bonus remaining, you'll have to earn 16.6 points per dollar before the final increment of the bonus is released.

How to Earn Full Tilt Points

There are three total ways to earn Full Tilt Points: by playing real money cash tables, by playing real money multi table tournaments, or by playing real money sit and go's. We'll explain each method now.

» Earning Full Tilt Points at Cash Games

The first way you can earn Full Tilt Points is by playing real money cash games at Full Tilt Poker. Every time the pot is raked, each of the players who were dealt into the hand will receive Full Tilt Points (FTP's). For every dollar that is raked, each player who was dealt into the hand will receive one (1) FTP. Every player who was dealt in will receive FTP's - even if you folded preflop, you'll still earn points if the pot is raked.

For example, if the pot is raked $2, each player who was dealt into the hand will earn 2 FTP's. Or, if the pot was raked $1, each player who was dealt in will receive 1 FTP. Also, fractional points are awarded, so if the pot is raked $1.50 each player who was dealt in will receive 1.5 FTP's.

» Earning Full Tilt Points in Tournaments or Sit and Go's

The other way to earn Full Tilt Points is by playing real money tournaments or sit and go's. The rate at which you earn FTP's is determined by how much money you pay in "tournament fees". When you enter a tournament, you'll pay most of the money to the prize pool, and a small portion to the poker site as a fee. For example, if you enter a $5+$.50 tournament, $5 goes to the prize pool and $0.50 goes to the site as a fee.

For each dollar you pay in tournament fees, you'll earn seven (7) FTP's. So, if you enter a $50+$5 tournament, you'll earn 35 FTP's. Or, if you enter a $30+$3 sit and go, you'll earn 21 FTP's. Also, fractional points are awarded, so if you enter a $3+$.30 sit and go you'll earn 2.1 FTP's.
