As someone who is a winning limit hold’em player take my advice and don’t buy this book. The strategy instruction in it is infantile as best. It will barely improve your game, possibly make it worse.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get better at playing low-limit Limit or No-Limit Hold Em. There is also a section on Omaha, but I don’t play that game often, so I have no comments on that section.
I’ve read a lot of poker books, but this one helped me the most. It’s easy to understand and apply the theory taught in the book. Everything is simple and easy to grasp. In addition to poker theory, there are also tips and practice hands that help you learn how to play certain hands from specific positions.
I’m not good with writing reviews. Just get this book if you’re relatively new to poker and want to improve your game. I recently placed 135th in an online poker tournament that had 1500 players. That might not be the best, but I’ve never done that well before.
Take notes as you read, read the book again, and study your notes. Your game will improve if you practice what you’ve learned.
